Hot Notes | Cool Nites Concerts in the Park will begin its 2026 season in the Riverton City Park on June 29 at 7:00 PM. The popular Fremont County band, Tim Ervin Band, will be featured as the guest artist. The other concerts this summer will be July 6 (Lander City Park), July 13 (Shoshoni), July 20 (Riverton), and July 27 (Lander).
The CWC Community band will be performing programs of classical, contemporary, and popular band music at each of the five concerts according to Dr. Jeremy Cochran, the band’s director.
The lineup of Guest Artists for the concerts this year including the Tim Ervin Band (June 29), Dave Munsick the Songteller (July 6), Tessa & Brady (July 13), NOISEFolk featuring Riverton native Michael Lange (July 20), and WyoJazz (July 27).
The Hot Notes | Cool Nites Concerts are sponsored in part by the Lander and Riverton Recreation Boards, Gambles, Wyoming Arts Council, Rocky Mountain Agronomy, Elevate Rehab, Home Source Realty, Vincent Financial Services, and the Wind River Visitors Council.
The concerts are free, but Dehnert noted, “We pass the sousaphone for any contributions the audience can make to the series.”
According to Cochran, the Community band is always looking for band musicians who are “young or old.” The band rehearses before the concerts at 5:30 pm and is served dinner by the DOES in Riverton and Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lander.
