(Riverton, WY) – The Wyoming Legislature’s Agriculture, State and Public Lands and Water Resources Committee will hold its first meeting of the interim this week in Riverton.
The meeting is scheduled to convene at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11, in room HS 100 of the Health and Science Center at Central Wyoming College in Riverton.
There are four items on the agenda for Thursday: livestock pregnancy examinations, orphaned water rights, federal vs. state lands recreational use, and state lands leasing policy.
The meeting will reconvene at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, to take on Wyoming Food Freedom amendments and livestock fencing requirements.
Local lawmakers on the committee are Wyoming Rep. Pepper Ottman, R-Riverton, and Wyoming Rep. John Winter, R-Thermopolis.
Both days of meetings are open to the public for in-person attendance, and a live video stream will be available on the Legislature’s YouTube channel.
