(Riverton, WY) – The Wind River Visitors Council will host a community engagement session with Wyoming Office of Tourism Executive Director Domenic Bravo beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, in Room 116 of the Inter Tribal Education and Community Center at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, bringing together community members, business leaders and tourism partners for a conversation about tourism priorities, opportunities and the future of Wyoming’s visitor economy.
The public session will provide updates on statewide tourism priorities and the future of Wyoming’s visitor economy while giving local residents, businesses and tourism partners an opportunity to share their perspectives, ideas and questions.
Bravo will provide updates on WOT and statewide tourism priorities while hearing directly from Wind River Country residents and industry partners about the opportunities, challenges and issues that matter locally.
Appointed executive director of WOT by Governor Mark Gordon in October 2025, Bravo has been traveling throughout Wyoming to meet with communities and tourism partners, listen to local priorities and discuss opportunities to strengthen the state’s visitor economy while preserving the character and experiences that make Wyoming unique.
The Riverton session brings that statewide conversation to Wind River Country and reflects WOT’s ongoing commitment to collaboration with local communities and industry partners.
Tourism and hospitality businesses, community leaders, elected officials and anyone interested in the future of tourism in Wyoming are encouraged to attend.
The event is open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
