(Riverton, WY) – The Eastern Shoshone Tribe’s Doya Natsu Healing Center will host a Community Healing Opioid Summit at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, Sept. 24 and 25, 2026.
The summit will have four breakout sessions focusing on:
- Community healing practices
- Focus on families
- Cultural healing
- Addiction science
The event features keynote speakers Theda New Breast, Cecelia FireThunder, Toqua Ticeahkie, Jim Shuler, and Waylon “Pee” Pahoma Jr.
Marcus RedThunder, actor and technical director on the A&E Network and Netflix series Longmire, is the emcee.
Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas will start the summit with a special taped message to the attendees.
