(Lander, WY) – Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon will be in Lander on Tuesday, Feb. 3, to kick off a series of events around the state entitled, The Essentials Budget: Protecting and Powering Wyoming’s Future, highlighting the importance of the upcoming budget session and the decisions made there.
Topics covered during the series will include protecting core industries, economic and business growth, importance of saving, property tax reform, and others as time allows.
Gordon will also highlight important priorities in his budget that could affect local communities.
The public will have the opportunity to ask questions for a portion of the event, and Gordon will take time to speak with local media afterward.
The Lander event will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the Wind River Room at The Inn at Lander, 260 Grandview Drive.
The series will continue in Gillette on Feb. 13, Cody on Feb. 16, Torrington on Feb. 25, and Rock Springs on March 2.
