Indian Relay Racing returns to the Fort Washakie Wyoming Rodeo Grounds on June 20-21 as part of the Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow. Races are scheduled daily at 2:00 p.m. with cash payouts for first, second and third place finishers and awards for champions.
Entry fees range from $50 for junior riders ages 13-17 up to $300 for the men’s relay, with the entry deadline set for Friday, June 19. Admission is free and vendors are welcome. The event is drug and alcohol free.
