(Fremont County, WY) – A march has been organized for this Saturday, March 15, to honor 18-year-old Stephanie Bearstail, whose life was tragically taken on March 4.
The “Justice for Steph” march will begin at 2 PM. Attendees are encouraged to meet at the 789 gas station.
The march will then continue down Rendezvous Road, and a cedaring will then take place at the conclusion.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red and black in Stephanie’s honor.
While the circumstances surrounding Stephanie’s March 4 death are still under investigation and public details remain scarce, an event organizer shared with County 10 that those closest to Stephanie want the march to function as a way to bring awareness to the tragedy while also offering a remembrance/celebration of her life.
A benefit account for Stephanie’s family has also been set up at Central Bank and Trust locations in Riverton, Fort Washakie, and Lander, where donations can be dropped off in person.
