(Fremont County, WY) – The League of Women Voters of Fremont County will be hosting two evenings with Julie Freese, County Clerk, and Tara Berg, County Assessor, offering residents the chance to learn about upcoming key changes impacting voting and taxes.
Topics include:
- New Registration Requirements – How do they affect YOU, and if they do?
- Learn about the new documentation you will need to register to vote for 2026:
- If you are a new resident
- You did not vote in the 2024 General Election
- Or moved
- The New Property Tax Laws- How do they impact you?
- Learn what this means for municipalities, the county, and the state, and more
The Town Halls will take place at the following locations:
LANDER
- Date: Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025
- Time: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
- Location: Carnegie Room, Lander Library, 451 No. 2nd St., Lander, WY
RIVERTON
- Date: Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025
- Time: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
- Location: Community Room, Riverton Library, 1330 West Park Ave., Riverton, WY
Receptions will follow with light refreshments each night.
