(Riverton, WY) – Revel in the spirit of the season by adding a stop at the Riverton Museum to your holiday activity list! For one day only, at 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, Dec. 7, community members are welcome to visit the museum free of charge during its annual Holiday Open House event.
Visitors can enjoy free cookies and hot chocolate as they explore the museum’s new exhibits and delight in the Christmas decorations in the Main Hall. Shoppers can also take advantage of the 10 percent holiday discount offered at the Heritage Gift Shop throughout the day.
In conjunction with the open house, Riverton Museum will also be hosting its Santa’s Workshop event at 2-4 pm. For $7 each, children can build and paint their own toys with all materials and paint provided by the museum.
This event is part of the museum’s Children’s Exploration Series sponsored by Bailey Tire and Auto Service.
Riverton Museum is open 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Saturday. Admission is $6 for adults; $5 for seniors (ages 65+) and students (elementary-university); children ages 5 and under are free.
