(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Peace Mission will host a community talking circle event 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the Community Room at the Riverton Branch Library, 1330 W. Park Ave. in Riverton.
The gathering, titled “Let’s Talk,” offers residents an opportunity to share their concerns about state and national events and their local impacts.
“There are a lot of concerns in the community about what’s happening nationally and how (it’s) going to affect us,” RPM organizer Chesie Lee said during a Riverton City Council meeting last week.
“(This is) just an opportunity for people to talk and share their concerns and what we’re doing to take care of ourselves.”
Organizers said all are welcome to attend the talking cirlce event to participate in respectful sharing.
