(Statewide) – The Wyoming Singer-Songwriter Competition, a “statewide celebration of original music, creativity, and community connection,” kicked off in Saratoga on June 28, and will next head to Lander this Friday, July 18.
The Lander round will take place in City Park, starting at 5 PM.
This year, the competition has partnered with the Wyoming Arts Council to introduce a new State Song Competition to “create a song that reflects the spirit of Wyoming today,” in addition to the normal Singer-Songwriter Competition.
The competition will have regional qualifiers (up to 3), who then head off to the Grand Finale in Ten Sleep over Labor Day Weekend.
