(Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites anglers to celebrate Free Fishing Day, when anyone can fish in Wyoming without a fishing license for the day.
The license waiver does not apply within Yellowstone National Park or the Wind River Reservation, and all fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions, and stream closures still apply.

Lander
June 6, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Kids Fishing Day at Luckey Pond
Sponsored by Popo Agie Anglers and Game and Fish. Lunch will be provided by Kiwanis, with fishing rods and tackle provided by North Platte Walleyes Unlimited.
Riverton
June 6, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kids Fishing Day at Rendezvous Ponds
Sponsored by Riverton Kiwanis, with lunch provided. Fishing rods and tackle will be provided by North Platte Walleyes Unlimited.
Dubois
June 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Kids Fishing Day at Pete’s Pond
Sponsored by Kiwanis, U.S. Forest Service, Game and Fish, DAWGS, Dubois Ace Hardware, North Platte Walleyes Unlimited, Big Bobbers Bait & Tackle, and Cutthroat Fly Shop. Lunch will be provided.
Participants should bring fishing gear unless otherwise noted, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
