(Fremont County, WY) – A one-vehicle rollover occurring on June 4 resulted in one death, the Wyoming Highway Patrol shared in a preliminary report released this week.
The deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Texas woman Deborah Mayo.
According to the report, the crash occurred near milepost 13 on WY 132 in Fremont County, at around 6:10 PM.
The report narrative states that Mayo’s vehicle exited the roadway to the right, then she overcorrected to the left, causing it to enter a passenger-side leading slide. The vehicle tripped and rolled once, then landed on its wheels.
The report informs that road and weather conditions were dry and clear, “speed” was a possible contributing factor, and no seat belt was in use.
There have been 40 deaths reported on Wyoming roads in 2026 to date.
