(Cody, WY) – Fremont County girls competed well at the Cody Invitational Wrestling Tournament in a huge field of 23 Wyoming and Montana teams.
Riverton’s Hailee Cooper won at 100 pounds, and Shoshoni’s Brueklyn Truempler was the champion at 145.
In all, 10 Fremont County girls placed in the top 10.
Lander finished highest in the team competition with 90 points and a sixth-place finish. Thunder Basin ran away with the team title with 208 points, almost doubling the second-place Lady Locomotives of Laurel, Montana.
