In a surprising upset, the Wind River Cougars have taken the lead over Riverton High School for the first time in two years, knocking RHS out of the running for this year’s Mascot Challenge.
Wind River finished the round with 1,137 votes, while RHS received 679 votes, securing the Cougars a spot in the championship round.
Voting for the championship round begins at 10 a.m. today and will continue through Monday at 5 p.m.
Now the question is: who will take the title? Will it be the Wind River Cougars, or the Wyoming Indian High School Chiefs?
Community members are encouraged to cast their votes and support their school. The winning school will receive:
