(Pavillion, WY) – Wind River High School football has not finished where they’ve wanted to the last couple years, going 3-14 combined in 2024 and 2025. Cougar supporters are hoping the squad can return to the success of the 2022 (7-3) season and the 2023 (8-2) state runner-up year as soon as possible.
New WRHS Head Coach Troy Anderson is hoping to lead that charge. Anderson takes over the program after Rod Fredrick stepped down. Fredrick had been in charge the last four seasons, taking the Cougs to the playoffs three times.
