Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Bluestar Friday was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Cody Kline.
Week of Oct. 20th
Bluestar is the son of Josh Friday and Shannon John and is a Senior here at Wind River. He participates in football. Blue has been on the honor roll multiple times. Outside of school, Bluestar enjoys working with his family members to help with traditional things as well as keeping the Native American way of life going. After graduation, he plans to enter the workforce and help his dad. “It’s
going to be great!’ Blue says. Nominating staff describe Bluestar as, “a model for success in his Lifetime Sports & Weight Training classes. He is the first to lead his group toward success. Often by simply providing an example of consistent effort and responsibility. He has not only bought into taking ownership of his own health, but has provided an ear to his classmates as they all work toward a successful and enjoyable life together.” Congratulations Bluestar on Student of the Week!
