Emery Jo Nicholas was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by .
Emery is the daughter of Jake and Shyla Nicholas and is a Junior here at Wind River High School. She participates in National Honor Society, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Student Council, FFA, and Multi-Cultural Club. A few of Emery’s special honors and awards include All-State in Track, multiple Cougar in Excellence cards, National Honor Society awards, and has lettered in all three participating
sports. Outside of school, she enjoys showing livestock, playing basketball, track, and participating in FFA activities. After graduation, Emery plans to go to the University of Florida. Nominating staff describes Emery Jo as, “the type of student I can count on to be a leader in any situation. She is always willing to give her input with well-thought through ideas and truly cares about the well-being of
everyone around her.” Congratulations Emery, on County 10 Student of the Week!
