Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Emma Miller was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by her teacher(s).
Emma Miller is currently a senior at Wind River High School who participates in volleyball, basketball, and track. She is also the President of the Multicultural Club and a member of National Honor Society. A few of Emma’s special awards include Profile of a Cougar, lettering in all sports, and State Art Symposium.
Nominating staff comment that, “Emma is a beautiful soul. She has a love for art and music, but also showcases her talents in volleyball, basketball, and track. She is accepting of all people, and puts extra effort into watching out for people who tend to get left out or unnoticed. These characteristics make her more of a silent leader, where her calming nature allows people to step up and be the best versions of themselves when they’re around her. She has competed at the state levels in Art Symposium, track and basketball.”
Emma is also a cadet at the Midvale Fire Department and works at Wendy’s. After graduation, she plans on attending college and seeing where life takes her!
