Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Jasper Beutler was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Jennifer Hammock.
Sept. 1st – Sept. 4th
Jasper is the son of Gretta Roth and Brian Beutler and is a senior here at Wind River High School. He participates in Riverton Swimming, Drama, and National Honor Society. Jasper's special awards and honors include a consistent 4.0 GPA, Principals List, lettering in Drama, Band, and Swimming, and the Participation Pillar for the annual Profile of a Cougar Awards Banquet. Jasper has a lifeguard certificate with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and first aid certification. As well as his water instructor certification. Outside of school, Jasper is a lead staff at the Riverton Aquatic Center where he lifeguards and occasionally teaches swimming lessons. After graduation, he plans to pursue a higher education majoring in an engineering field. Nominating staff commend Jasper on taking his personal time to attend the two engineering programs at the University of Wyoming this summer. Congratulations Jasper Beutler on Student of the Week!
