Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Juanita Harris was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Teacher .
Juanita Harris is currently a senior at Wind River Learning Academy/Wind River High School. She has accomplished so much at the WRLA and has qualified for State Art Symposium this year. Nominating staff comment that, “Juanita was the first to complete an entire class on our new online program, and did so with flying colors. She has strived for good grades, has adapted on her graduation journey, and has had an amazing attitude the entire time.” Outside of school, Juanita enjoys hanging out with friends and working. After graduation, she plans on becoming a mechanic with preference on classic and old school vehicles.
