Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Keegan Spens was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Teacher .
Keegan Spens is currently a senior at Wind River High School. He participates in Band, Bugs N Bones, and Track & Field. A few of his special awards include Student of the Week since his freshman year, Cougar & Purple Honor Roll, and Profile of a Cougar Participation Award. Keegan also enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games, and learning new techniques for cooking. Nominating staff comment that, “Keegan always goes above and beyond. He is reliable and always willing to help whether its running concessions at sporting events or lending a hand in the classroom. He has taken on a leadership role in the Bugs program and is always a huge help with our kitchen staff. Keegan does a great job representing our school!” After graduation, he plans on attending college for a culinary degree. Keegan would enjoy pursuing a culinary teaching career and potentially owning his own business one day.
