Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Keeley Walker was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by .
Sept. 29th – Oct. 2nd
Keeley is the daughter of Ty and Ashley Walker and is a Junior here at Wind River High School. Keeley manages football and also is on the girls’ wrestling team. A few of her special awards and honors include honor roll and lettering in wrestling. Outside of school Keeley enjoys rodeo, hanging out with friends, training horses, and working every now and then with her dad. After graduation, Keeley plans to go to college for cosmetology and when finished
with that, wants to work as an equine chiropractic. Nominating staff say, “Keeley consistently shows
what it means to be a great student and human. Keeley comes to class everyday ready, willing, and engaged, working her hardest on the task at hand. She is willing to speak aloud to the class, and doesn’t give up when the task gets hard. In addition to her focused work ethic, she collaborates well with her peers, being sure to speak collaboratively and kindly. Also, you will never catch Keeley without a smile on her face!” Congrats Keeley!
