Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Kylee Miller was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week.
Week Oct. 27th – 30th
Kylee is the daughter of Jess and Jeremey Schooner and Mickey Miller. She participates in Student Council and Volleyball. A few of Kylee’s special awards and honors include the Cougar Pillar, Cougar Honor Roll, and Student Council President. Outside of school, she enjoys Figure 8 Racing, Surfing, working, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, Kylee plans to go to Cosmetology school while going to work. Nominating staff say, “As Student Council President, Kylee planned and led our Homecoming week amazingly. She did everything without having to be asked. She sacrificed many hours of sleep and rest in order to be the best President that she could be! I knew our Homecoming week was in good hands and was never given a reason to not trust her to lead the school properly. There were times when it felt like she was reading my mind & was already on top of everything that needed to be done. Without Kylee’s leadership, our Homecoming week would not have been as successful!” Congrats Kylee!
