Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Natalie Walker was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week.
Natalie Walker is currently a senior at Wind River High School. She participates in volleyball, basketball, track, student council-Class President, National Honor Society, WHSAA Student Advisory Council, and drama. Natalie has lettered in all her sports, has won two pillar awards for Profile of a Cougar, made Principal’s List, and likes to consider herself “mother’s favorite”. Nominating staff comment that, “Natalie has demonstrated exceptional academic performance, taking on the challenge of college courses. As an active member in student council, Natalie has also shown great leadership skills in organizing events. In addition to her academic leadership, she also participates and excels in multiple sports.” Outside of school, Natalie also participates in her church’s Youth Group. After graduation, she plans on taking a gap year to travel then go on a mission.
