Natiya Shoyo was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by .

Natiya is the daughter of Ellie Shoyo and is a Junior here at Wind River High School. She participates in Volleyball and Basketball. A few of Natiya’s special awards and honors include lettering in both Basketball and Volleyball every year and consistently earning an honor roll certificate for outstanding GPA. Outside of school she participates in Club Volleyball and travels to dance at powwows. After
graduation, Natiya plans to attend college to study Kinsiology. Nominating staff say, “Natiya is a dedicated student, athlete, and artist.
She shares her culture with other students at school. Natiya works hard, is kind, and demonstrates quiet leadership through her positive example of responsibility, respect, and readiness. Natiya participates in Volleyball, Basketball, Multi-Cultural Club, and UNITY. She is an Honor Roll Student and her art work has been selected for State Art Symposium. Outside of school, Natiya dances in powwows throughout the western United States.” Congratulations Natiya!
