Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Olivia Remacle was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Teacher .
Olivia is currently a sophomore at WRHS. She participates in Drama, Student Council, National Honor Society, volleyball, track, and wrestling. A few of her awards include multiple Academic Awards, Leadership Role in Drama, and lettering in varsity volleyball, track, and wrestling. Nominating staff comment that, "Olivia consistently demonstrates positive social and academic behaviors that are expected of students. She comes to class prepared, willing to learn, open minded to new thought processes, and never lets failure get in her way. In Student Council, Olivia is working with select members on a sports spirit initiative to improve the school's student section at home games, and find a way to provide extra cougar gear to spectators." Outside of school, she participates in club volleyball, 4H, college courses, sports camps, weight lifting, competitive runs, and community work. After graduation, Olivia plans on attending the University of Wyoming to pursue a degree in criminal profiling and justice system work.
