Each week, staff at Wind River School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Rickele Kompkoff was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week by Teacher .
Rickele is currently a freshman at Wind River High School. She participates in band, track, drama, and art. A few of Ricki's awards include Honor Band 1st Flute and Principal's List. Outside of school, she is also in Community College Band. Nominating staff comment that, "Ricki is a talented individual, which we have all seen in her music, writing, drama, and art. She is committed to her growth in music, and takes flute lessons outside of school hours. We love her willingness to try new things and take all of the opportunities that our school has to offer. On top of that, Ricki is a very responsible individual who always has great communication skills." After graduation, she plans on attending college to pursue music or art to become a teacher. Congratulations!
