Tanayah is the daughter of Patricia and Clinton Burnett. She participates in Basketball, Volleyball, and High School Softball for Lander. Tanayah has lettered in Basketball and Volleyball and has been on the honor roll multiple times for earning a good GPA. Outside of school she participates in traveling Basketball and Softball teams. After graduation, Tanayah plans to go to college for
Softball and study Sonography. Nominating staff say, “Tanayah quietly goes about making good choices. She diligently completes her
school work, participates in school activities, she shows kindness and respect to those around her. Tanayah participates in basketball, volleyball, Multi-Cultural Club, and UNITY. She willingly chares her culture at school events. Tanayah is getting a head start on her education by taking dual credit classes through CWC. Tanayah was selected to go on a basketball tour to Greece this summer. She also
dances at Powwows. Her sweet spirit brings a steady calmness to the school environment.”.
