Each week, staff at Wind River High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all students.
TyAnne Cooper was nominated as the Wind River High School student of the week.
April 20-23
TyAnne is the daughter of Jeff & Chelsey Cooper. She is an active member of NHS, currently on the Junior Class Prom Committee, participates in wrestling, painting & drawing, art shows, and is involved in Range Land Management. TyAnne has maintained at least a 3.5 GPA through all of High School, lettered in wrestling and received Wrestler of the Week. She has gotten multiple certificates of
academic excellence, as well as NHS certificate of membership. TyAnne has qualified for State Art with many pieces and was also awarded the WY. Coaches Association Award. Outside of school, she participates in IMCA dirt track racing where she not only competes but does perform routine maintenance and continuously improves her driving skills. TyAnne enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. After graduation, she would like to enter the workforce and be employed in some area of mechanics or autobody. Potentially even wraps and graphics. Nominating staff say, “TyAnne shows great kindness and respect in the classroom, consistently treating peers and faculty with genuine consideration. She is far from being a passive learner, TyAnne drives the energy of the class by engaging in conversations and debates. Whether it’s meeting deadlines or taking ownership of projects, her reliability makes her a role model for her peers. Even when faced with challenging concepts, she maintains a resilient, “can-do” spirit that is truly infectious.” Congratulations TyAnne!
