Zayda Boone was nominated as the Wind River Job Corp student of the week by Center Director, Matthew Davis.
Today, women are playing an increasingly important role in the construction sector and this student is out to prove it! We are pleased to recognize Zayda Boone as Wind River Job Corps Student of the Week. Zayda is a HS graduate from Thornton, CO who arrived in August to get certifications in Heavy Equipment Operations. As a graduate, Zayda can now operate the forklift, front loader, excavator and the dozer. Zayda plans to work for DIA doing snow removal and other duties with a starting pay of $35/hr.
