Each week, staff at Wind River Job Corps nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics.
Cruz Gonzales-Holtzhauer was nominated as the Wind River Job Corps student of the week by Welding Instructor Jayden Haslam.
Cruz made a courageous decision to join Job Corps with the goal of improving his future. He is currently enrolled in the Welding program, where his instructor has praised his initiative and eagerness to learn, noting that he’s a valuable addition to the team. Cruz is a respectful and kind-hearted individual, but brings a genuine motivation to succeed. His positive attitude and strong work ethic have made him a natural leader, and he often steps up to help others, offering guidance and support as a mentor to his peers. He exemplifies the spirit of growth and transformation that Job Corp fosters.
