Rock Himebaugh was nominated as the Wind River Job Corps student of the week by Carpentry Instructor Shawn Johnson.
Rock came to WRJC determined to build a solid career for himself. His instructor shares that he consistently shows initiative, completing tasks without needing direction and encouraging his peers to do the same. Rock plans to join the UBC union after completing his training. He appreciates how carpentry keeps his hands busy and his mind engaged, and he enjoys watching a project grow from an idea to a finished product. We’re proud of his drive, leadership, and dedication to his craft.
