(Riverton, WY)—Wind River Job Corps Center is inviting local, regional, and national employers and workforce and community leaders to an employer roundtable event at the campus on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the roundtable discussions our Trade Instructors will meet with groups of employers
representing similar industries to learn more about their hiring needs. Additionally, center leadership will discuss with the employers ways they can collaborate to ensure Job Corps graduates leave the program with the most up-to-date skills and knowledge.
Wind River Job Corps provides career training and education to students interested in careers in Heavy Truck Driving, Welding, Carpentry, Building Construction Technologies, Petroleum, Electrical, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Operations, and Medical.
During the event, employers can share their perspectives on partnering with Job Corps to provide students with training and/or postgraduate opportunities. Lunch will be provided by Bunks BBQ.
