(Fremont County, WY) – Wind River Refuge is the only women’s safe home in Fremont County. The organizations mission is to, “love and protect women and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, and to break cycles of normalized violence.”
Desiree Henderson from Wind River Refuge stopped by County 10 to tell us more about the non-profit, how the community can help and a brunch fundraiser they’re planning this Saturday!
The event happens Saturday, October 19 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Foundations For Nations Church, located at 20 Mission Road in Riverton.
