(Fremont County, WY) – Wind River Reservation man John Nelson Brown III has been reported missing, as per missing Indigenous person advocacy group MMIR 307, and confirmed through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation missing persons page. He was last seen on June 8.
Brown may have been last seen in Gillette, according to the WDCI missing person information narrative. He has scars on his left cheek and upper left lip. Brown is 55 years old, Native American, 5’9″, 160 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

According to the WDCI missing person page, there have also been four other reports of missing individuals in Fremont County during the month of June.
- Korbin (14) and Niko (12) Martel were last seen on June 11. Korbin is 5’9″, 140 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Niko is 5’8″, 115 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Both are Native American. - Prayla Underwood was last seen on June 8. Prayla is 14, Native American, 5’2″, 120 lbs, and has hazel eyes and black hair. The available information states that she was last seen wearing a shirt with a sparkling dolphin on it, grey sweatpants, and white Converse shoes. No picture was available on the site. - Devin Jay Martel was last seen on June 7. Devin is 17, Native American, 6′, 170 lbs, and has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with black sweatpants.
