Your opportunity to help beautify our county continues with Earth Day weekend.
A clean-up event set for the Wind River Indian Reservation is scheduled for both Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th.
Stations will be organized at Great Plains Hall in Arapahoe, Blue Sky Hall in Ethete, and Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie. Clean-ups begin both days at 9:00 a.m.
Volunteers of all ages are needed and encouraged to wear a safety vest or bright colored t-shirt.
Donations are also being collected for the clean-up efforts. Items needed include gloves, food, bright colored t-shirts, vests, and water. Any tribal programs interested in lending a truck or trailer to help haul trash would also be appreciated. If you can make a donation, they can be dropped at the TERO office located at 156 Old Wind River Highway in Fort Washakie, or you can contact Francene or Terah at the TERO office by calling 332-9093 or 332-7618.
