As of Monday at 10:00 a.m. large sections of Wyoming’s interstate system are closed due to winter conditions.
Interstate 25 closed shortly after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning between the Glenrock exit and Cheyenne. WYDOT does not currently have an opening timetable. 10:23 a.m. I-25 update: Sections of I-25 northbound are opening, but listed as slick.
Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie has been closed since roughly 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning as well. 10:25 a.m. update: Cheyenne to Laramie is now open.
Many other Wyoming highways have travel warnings, especially in the southern and eastern portion of the state.
Fremont County highways have no closures Tuesday as of 10:00 a.m., however many roads are listed as slick. South Pass has a Level 2 Chain Warning.
