(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Freshman scored another victory on Monday afternoon, entertaining the Red Devils from Evanston in an entertaining contest.
Riverton built a 21-7 lead at the half and played even in the third and fourth periods to take a 27-15 win.
Running back Miles Rico gashed the Red Devil defense on toss sweeps and power plays up the middle.
With Evanston driving in the final period, and the Wolverines holding a narrow 21-15 lead, Rico stepped in front of a pass and rolled into the end zone on an insurance “Pick 6” interception.
