UPDATE As of 1:30 p.m South Pass has reopened.
(South Pass, WY) – Wyoming Department of Transportation crews worked into the overnight hours on Wyoming Highway 28 over South Pass as snow started flying heavily.
As of 2:09 a.m. they closed the highway. There is currently no estimated re-opening time.
WYDOT will update road conditions first via wyoroad.info, by calling 511 or by using their 511 mobile app.
Several other highways across Fremont County are listed as “wet” or “slick in spots” as of 6:00 a.m. Monday.
