Temperatures across Wyoming fell 40-70 degrees from Sunday afternoon to Monday night. A lot of wind accompanied the cold front.
The National Weather Service office in Riverton has released some peak wind gust totals from Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Rock Springs’ Airport topped the list with an 86 mph gust. That’s category 1 hurricane level wind.
Riverton’s Airport recorded a 48 mph gust.
