Friday is National College Radio Day and our friends at Central Wyoming College’s 88.1 Rustler Radio are celebrating along with dozens of stations across the world.
A group called CBI (College Broadcasters Inc.) will be hosting an all-day event spotlighting independent musicians of all kinds from the local areas of different college radio stations. Basically, each radio station gets an hour to highlight local bands on all of the station’s across the country participating.
As of now, radio stations are participating from Wyoming, Oregon, Maryland, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and as far away as Sweden! Others are expected to join the fun.
This will be a great opportunity for local bands to gain some national, and international, exposure and to hear music from all around the globe!
