(Laramie, WY) – The Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year, Marcus Williams, has officially entered the NCAA basketball transfer portal.
Williams is just the fourth Cowboy in history to be named conference Freshman of the Year. The Dickinson, Texas native averaged 14.9 points per game for the Pokes this season.
Williams posted a statement on his social media accounts Wednesday about his decision.
