36-year-old Beau Damori of Gillette was found dead by Campbell County authorities roughly 4 hours after a 2:00 p.m. explosion occurred at an oil processing site near Gillette Wednesday.
Campbell County authorities said that the other employees working at the time were not injured.
The explosion caused a fire that engulfed 10 oil tanks, 2 passenger vehicles, 2 semi-trucks, three different buildings, and two full 1,700-gallon propane tanks that started a grass fire.
The blaze took at least half an hour before it was safe for firefighters to approach.
