Gerald Roderick-Jackson pleaded guilty to a charge of obtaining benefits by fraud on Thursday in Natrona County District Court.
The Gillette man was ordered to pay $982 in restitution and $735 in fines and fees. According to the Gillette News-Record, Roderick-Jackson intentionally under-reported his income so he could continue receiving unemployment benefits.
This is the 25th fraud conviction since 2016, resulting in more than $247,000 in restitution. The State Department of Workforce Services reporeted the fraud to authorities.
