The Wind River Visitors Council invites community members, business leaders and tourism partners to attend a Listening/Speaking Session with Wyoming Office of Tourism Executive Director Domenic Bravo on Monday, September 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. The session will be held in ITECC Room 116.
The event will provide an opportunity to hear directly from Bravo about the Wyoming Office of Tourism, priorities for the state’s visitor economy and the future of tourism in Wyoming. Just as importantly, the session will give local residents and industry partners an opportunity to share their perspectives, ideas and questions about tourism in the state.
Bravo was appointed executive director of the Wyoming Office of Tourism by Governor Mark Gordon in October 2025. As he travels throughout Wyoming, Bravo has been meeting with communities and tourism partners to listen to local priorities and discuss opportunities to strengthen Wyoming’s visitor economy while preserving the character and experiences that make the state unique.
The Wind River Visitors Council is hosting the Riverton session as an opportunity to bring that statewide conversation to Wind River Country.
“Tourism plays an important role in Fremont County’s economy and touches communities throughout Wind River Country,” said Helen Wilson, CEO of the Wind River Visitors Council. “We’re pleased to welcome Domenic to Riverton and provide an opportunity for our communities to hear what’s happening at the state level while also sharing what matters to us locally.”
The Listening/Speaking Session is open to the public. Tourism and hospitality businesses, community leaders, elected officials and anyone interested in the future of tourism in Wyoming are encouraged to attend.
