Wyoming PBS earned four Heartland Emmy® Awards over the weekend for productions that celebrate adventure, uncover hidden Wyoming industries, and explore the connections between people and the natural world.
The awards were presented during the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Heartland Chapter Emmy® Awards ceremony on Saturday, July 18, in Denver. The regional awards recognize excellence in television and media production across Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Wyoming PBS received the following Heartland Emmy® Awards:
“Mountain Roots: The Adventure Home”

Another program that first aired on Wyoming PBS, “Guardians of Yellowstone: The Yellowstone Cougar Project,” also received a Heartland Emmy® Award in the Documentary–Topical category. The film was produced by FStop Foundation, Inc.
In addition to its four Emmy® wins, Wyoming PBS earned 12 nominations this year, recognizing excellence in writing, directing, photography, music composition, environmental storytelling, human interest programming, and original content. Additional nominated productions included:
