It’s probably not that surprising if you live here, Wyoming residents work hard. A study from WalletHub used a formula to find the states with the hardest working employees and claim that Wyoming is the 3rd hardest working overall.
A system with several metrics calculated the results including average work week hours, employment rate, number of workers using vacation time unused, and much more.
The only states ranking higher than Wyoming were North Dakota and Alaska. Texas and Nebraska rounded out the top 5. States that work the “least hard” include West Virginia, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Michigan, and Ohio.
