According to a new survey from Zippia, Wyoming residents typically use a lot of fireworks on the 4th of July.
Zippia apparently used a formula based on firework sales, imported fireworks numbers, firework emergency calls, and firework accidents to tally to states, per capita, that use the most fireworks.
The Cowboy State ranks 6th overall in the country in firework use based on that formula. The only states that use more include Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Alabama, and South Carolina.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Delaware are the least firework-crazed states.
