(Fremont County, WY) – Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen shared his offices’ monthly update on February 9th at the Fremont County Commission meeting.
There were 10 coroner cases in January 2021 – the same number was reported for January 2020. Differing this year over last is the number of accidental deaths – 4 in 2021 and 2 in 2020.
The first traffic fatality of the year was reported on January 31st, 2021. Last year, the first traffic fatalities were in April.
Two cases are still pending investigations, according to the update.
There was one COVID-related coroner case in January.
